Where the journey began. The Paulie and Tony Fusco Show was launched in podcast form in the summer of 2020 by Sharief Ali, Andrew Samson, and Jason Hom. From humble beginnings, we created an award-winning podcast, now distributed by FOX Sports and iHeart Podcasts, and featured on ESPN Radio. We aim to share invaluable lessons from our journey to our community.
Omaha Productions
We worked with Omaha Productions in an extensive revamp of their podcast network, reshaping shows like Always College Football with Greg McElroy, This is Football with Kevin Clark, and The Mina Kimes Show featuring Lenny. Our work focused on a new approach to video product and social media strategy that led to a surge in rankings, downloads, and video views.
World Wrestling Entertainment
Sharief dedicated three exciting years to WWE, beginning as a creative writer for Friday Night SmackDown, where he worked closely with top talent. He later took on the role of Director of Audio Programming and Production, playing a key role in revamping WWE After The Bell and Feel The Power: The New Day Podcast. In addition to refreshing existing content, he led the development of multiple new shows, including projects for WWE legends like the iconic Undertaker.
The Volume Podcast Network
Sharief began his career in sports production at FOX Sports where he spent four years working closely with Colin Cowherd as a writer and producer. During this time, he honed his skills in content creation and production. Sharief later reunited with Cowherd to help launch The Volume Podcast Network. In this role Sharief played a crucial part in developing and testing shows that became integral to the network's success.
